Joymom’s Is HALAL Certified: Here’s What You Should Know

on February 19, 2026 .

At Joymom’s, we understand that HALAL certification is important to many of our customers. It is not only about meeting religious dietary requirements, but also about giving customers greater confidence in the way products are prepared, handled, and produced.

That is why we believe it is important to be transparent about our HALAL status and to explain why some of our products may not display the HALAL logo on their packaging.

Joymom’s is a HALAL-certified brand, and we are committed to maintaining standards that support both product quality and customer confidence.

For us, HALAL is not just about whether an ingredient is permissible. It also reflects a more careful and disciplined way of handling food. HALAL standards are often associated with cleaner processes, stricter production controls, better hygiene practices, and more systematic operating procedures to help ensure food is prepared properly and safely.

In other words, HALAL is not only about what goes into the product, but also about how the product is managed throughout the preparation process.

HALAL Also Represents Cleanliness and Stricter Food Handling Standards

Many people understand HALAL as a religious certification, which it is. But beyond that, HALAL also gives assurance in areas that matter to all consumers, including cleanliness, hygiene, and production discipline.

This includes greater attention to areas such as:

  • ingredient sourcing
  • handling procedures
  • cleanliness of equipment and workspace
  • proper storage and separation practices
  • overall production SOP and hygiene control

That is why, for many customers, HALAL-certified products are not only a preferred choice for religious reasons, but also for the added confidence that the products are prepared under more structured and careful standards.

At Joymom’s, we value this responsibility and take it seriously.

Why Do Some Joymom’s Products Not Have the HALAL Logo Printed on the Packaging?

Some customers may notice that not every Joymom’s product packaging carries the HALAL logo. We would like to clarify this to avoid confusion.

For a small number of items are baked in our retail store. While all ingredients used are HALAL-certified, the HALAL logo is not printed on the packaging because the retail store itself has not yet applied for HALAL certification.

As the certification does not currently cover that retail-store baking location, we are unable to display the HALAL logo on those items, even though the ingredients themselves are HALAL-certified.

The Same Situation May Apply to New Products

The same explanation may also apply to some newly launched products.

When we introduce a new item, the certification process may require time before it can be formally reflected on the packaging. During this period, the HALAL logo may not yet appear on the product packaging.

This does not necessarily mean the ingredients are not HALAL. In many cases, it simply means that the certification update or approval process is still ongoing, and the logo cannot be displayed until the process has been completed accordingly.

What We Want Our Customers to Know

We understand that customers may feel unsure when they do not see the HALAL logo printed on a particular product. That is why we want to explain this clearly.

If a product does not display the HALAL logo, it does not automatically mean that non-HALAL ingredients are used. In some cases, it is related to where the item is baked, the certification scope of a specific location, or the time needed for new products to complete the necessary certification process.

For items such as our retail-baked products, all ingredients used are still HALAL-certified, even though the packaging does not show the HALAL logo.

Our Commitment at Joymom’s

At Joymom’s, we are committed not only to creating products that taste good, but also to maintaining trust through responsible practices, transparency, and care in how our products are prepared.

To us, HALAL represents more than a label. It reflects a commitment to cleaner production, stricter hygiene standards, more careful food handling, and a more disciplined SOP overall.

We believe these are standards that benefit all customers.

A Note to Our Customers

We hope this helps clarify why some Joymom’s products may not display the HALAL logo on their packaging, even though Joymom’s is a HALAL-certified brand and HALAL-certified ingredients are used.

If you ever have questions about a specific product, our team is always happy to assist and provide clarification.

At Joymom’s, we remain committed to bringing you products that are made with care, quality, and transparency, so you can enjoy every bite with greater confidence.
